BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified the second man killed in a plane crash in the El Paso Mountains that sparked the “Canyon Fire” earlier this month in Kern County.
Enrique Cuahoctemoc Lopez Castillo, 27, of Riverside, was identified on Monday, May 18, as the last person who died in the May 7 crash. The coroner said Castillo was the pilot of the airplane, which crashed at about 12:10 p.m. He died at the scene.
