Ohio group collects 25,000 signatures for a constitutional amendment banning data centers

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — An Ohio group working to get a constitutional amendment on the November ballot that would ban largescale data centers has released its first signature totals.

According to the website Conserve Ohio, it has gathered 25,000 signatures in its first five weeks.

The signatures represent about 6% of the 413,487 valid signatures the group needs from half of Ohio’s counties by a July 1st deadline…
