Teen shot during confrontation with local police now heading to prison: I-Team

CLEVELAND (WJW) – The FOX 8 I-Team has found a teen shot by police during a confrontation with officers will now head to prison.

The teen was sentenced Monday for taking part in a crime spree that led up to the 2024 shooting that was caught on Cleveland police body camera video.

Jahmez Johnson, 14 at the time of the shooting, was struck by police gunfire in the shoulder. Prosecutors moved to have his case bound over to adult court.
