WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Two people are dead after a crash on US-311 to I-40 westbound exit ramp at around 2 a.m. on Sunday, May 17, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.
According to investigators, a Toyota was stopped and disabled on the right shoulder of the exit ramp, with both the driver and passenger inside.
A BMW was driving westbound on the ramp and allegedly ran off the roadway to the right for an unknown reason, police said…
