Greensboro police release body-worn camera footage after fatal officer-involved shooting

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Greensboro police released body-worn camera footage on Monday related to a fatal shooting last year, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release.

At 4:06 p.m. on Aug. 5, a Greensboro officer was flagged down by a resident in the 1600 block of Marion Street about a trespasser call.

The resident directed the officer toward a man, later identified as 48-year-old Said Ezzine, who was suspected of trespassing on a nearby property.

The officer then started talking to Ezzine, and he refused to comply with repeated commands from the officer.
