Could 900 more homes come to Greensboro? City considers major proposal

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Greensboro City Council is set to hold a public hearing on a proposal to annex more than 100 acres for a residential development that could bring about 900 housing units to the Old Randleman Road area.

The proposal covers properties at 5101, 5113 and 5327 Old Randleman Road, north of Benedict Road, and would extend city limits to accommodate new residential growth tied to the project.
