HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — A former office administrator is accused of using a Harrisburg church’s credit card to rack up more than $36,000 in personal purchases.
Felony charges of theft, access device fraud, and criminal use of a communication facility were filed May 11 against Cynthia Harbert, 64, of Florida, by the Dauphin County District Attorney’s office, according to court records.
Investigators said in an affidavit of probable cause that Harbert was an office administrator at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral, located at 221 North Front Street, from July 2017 to July 2025.
