PSL Thanksgiving crash investigation ends in DUI manslaughter arrest

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — An unauthorized off-road vehicle, alcohol impairment, and a high-speed turn led to a fatal Thanksgiving crash, resulting in DUI manslaughter charges for a 24-year-old driver.

The Port St. Lucie Police Department Traffic Homicide Unit says it has completed its investigation into the November 27, 2025, crash at SE Port St. Lucie Blvd and SE Glover Street, leading to a warrant for 24-year-old Ryan Joseph Burdick, who later turned himself in.
