The German shepherd dog found tied to a large rock on a Woodburn street last week has been reunited with its family, police announced Monday.
After originally believing the dog had been abandoned, Woodburn police discovered during the investigation that the dog had escaped from its home during a storm while tethered to a concrete block.
Woodburn police found the dog on May13 in the 600 block of Willow Avenue, just west of the Woodburn Premium Outlets. Officers were able to safely free the dog and gave it food and water, officials said…
