City west of Ann Arbor seeking muralist to beautify downtown commons

CHELSEA, MI — The Chelsea Downtown Development Authority is seeking a professional artist to create a public mural downtown.

The mural will be installed on either the north or south exterior wall of the building at Palmer Commons, 304 S. Main St. The city park is home to the Chelsea Farmers Market on Saturdays and annual events, including Sounds and Sights on Thursday Nights and the Sounds and Sights Festival.
