GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) – Neighbors along Old Randleman Road want answers to their concerns after a plan proposes adding up to 900 homes to the community.
City council leaders will hear comments in a public hearing on Tuesday. The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the plaza level of the Melvin Municipal Building on West Washington Street.
Neighbors Speak Out
Chris Morgan is one homeowner who said he played a part in rallying the community against the proposal. Morgan said his concerns for the plan are not the development itself.
“I don’t think anybody around here would mind seeing houses getting built up there on that property because … a person has the right to do things with their land,” Morgan said. “But they got to realize it influences everybody. It has repercussions to all the neighbors.”
