A woman from Snow Camp has been arrested for allegedly helping her husband, a previously convicted felon, acquire a firearm that he later used to threaten her in her own home.
Amanda Kristen Heavener was taken into custody last Wednesday on one count of aiding and abetting Charles William Heavener II in the commission of this felony-level offense.
According to the office of Alamance County’s sheriff, Amanda Heavener’s arrest followed the discovery of a firearm in her husband’s possession more than three months ago.
