WINTER HAVEN, Florida — A burglary in Winter Haven resulted in the arrest of two individuals on Monday evening, May 18, 2026, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a home on Trinity Circle NW after the homeowner received a security alert indicating unlawful activity. The victim identified the suspect as 22-year-old Elijah Neiro, of Winter Haven, who was seen on video entering the carport and stealing four fishing poles.
Authorities located Neiro at a residence on 36th Street NW, where they also encountered 25-year-old Nicholas Land. Land was observed discarding a syringe, which was found to contain methamphetamine, leading to his arrest…
