TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Florida Highway Patrol said it is looking for information regarding a man who ran from troopers during a traffic stop in Tampa on Monday.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a gray Kia Forte around 3:00 a.m. after the driver ran a red light on Fowler Avenue and McKinley Drive, FHP said.

Troopers attempted to approach the car, but the driver fled westbound on Fowler Avenue. He then turned and struck a curb on North 15th Street, disabling the car, according to FHP.
