TULSA, Okla. – A longtime North Tulsa civil rights advocate and community leader is being remembered for a lifetime spent teaching history, organizing for equality and uplifting his community.

Bobby Eaton Sr. died last week at the age of 90. Family members say Eaton was a lifelong Tulsan whose voice helped shape generations of activism and community pride.
