Hearing postponed for accused killer police say is infatuated with ‘evil things’

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man accused of a deadly stabbing and who authorities say appears to be infatuated with “evil things” — devils and pentagrams are tattooed on his body and the number “666” written on his wallet — appeared in court Tuesday.

Jerome Andreas Jr. stood silent next to his attorney, Deputy Public Defender Nathalie Sahakian, as his preliminary hearing was rescheduled to May 27. Sahakian told the court she’s still awaiting discovery.
