Goldie’s Donuts, located at 7301 Chippewa Rd., is one of Brecksville’s newest businesses to open up near public square. It occupies the building that formerly housed Erie Island Coffee Company.
It is the third such location opened by owner Dustin Goldberg, with additional shops located on Lorain Avenue in Cleveland, as well as Lyndhurst. Goldberg has plans to open a fourth location in Mentor this year.
“We were looking for a new location in this geographical area, and this place became available,” said Goldberg. “This was a doughnut shop originally for 30-plus years, and then it turned into a traditional coffee shop, and now back into a doughnut shop. It is laid out very nice, as it has a kitchen, drive-thru, a bar top and indoor and outdoor seating.”
