Award-winning actor Bob Odenkirk previews action comedy ‘Normal’

INDIANAPOLIS — There is nothing normal about the fictitious Normal, Minnesota.

In action comedy “Normal,” an interim sheriff (Bob Odenkirk) comes in after the previous sheriff’s mysterious death. While still new to the role, he investigates a botched bank robbery that uncovers a town-wide conspiracy.

“There’s something a little wrong about this town. Everyone’s very friendly, got that Minnesota nice, that small town nice. There’s a lot of cute little shops and stuff, but there’s a tension running through the town. There’s too many guns and there’s too much money, and when I find out what it is from that point on, it never stops blowing up,” said Odenkirk (“Better Call Saul,” “Nobody”)…
