KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A new store will be opening near the intersection of Clinton Highway and Callahan Road later this summer.
Academy Sports + Outdoors announced on Tuesday that it will be opening a North Knoxville location at 6574 Clinton Highway in June 2026. Currently, Google Maps shows a location for Academy Sports in Crown Pointe Plaza beside Hobby Lobby.

The new 55,010-square-foot store will have a variety of sports and outdoors products, including an assortment of products from brands like Nike, Adidas, Jordan Brand, Carhartt, Stanley, Titleist, Shimano, Brooks, YETI and more. This location will be Academy’s 16th store in Tennessee.
