NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — An “Air Quality Alert” has once again been issued from 11:00 a.m. through 11:00 p.m. Tuesday, according to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
Officials are warning of another round of high levels of ozone, which is produced when sunlight reacts with automobile exhaust and industrial emissions.

The advisory is for New York City, most of New Jersey, Dutchess, and Ulster counties in the Hudson Valley.
