DTE’s Fermi 2 nuclear power plant shut down after small fire

MONROE COUNTY, MI – A small fire at DTE Energy’s Fermi 2 nuclear power plant led operators to take the facility offline Monday evening.

Utility officials say the plant remains in “safe and stable condition.”
