WPB charter school teacher accused of molesting student multiple times on campus

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A West Palm Beach teacher blamed hugs after a 15-year-old student used a handwritten note to expose his inappropriate behavior on Monday, according to deputies.

Deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office responded to Renaissance Charter School at 2001 Summit Blvd. in West Palm Beach for reports of inappropriate conduct between a teacher and a student.

School staff informed deputies that a 15-year-old girl had reported the physical contact and comments from her teacher, Robert Rivernider, and had placed him on administrative leave and sent him home…
