Driver left motorcyclist for dead after shattering nearly every bone in his body

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – More than a month after a hit-and-run crash left Palmer Lovett with severe injuries, he is speaking about his recovery and the search for the driver who left him in the street.

Lovett, 30, was riding his motorcycle on South Boulevard just before 11 p.m. on April 12 when police say a silver vehicle, possibly a Toyota Corolla, struck him at the intersection of East Boulevard. The driver left the scene.

“It broke my tibia, shattered my kneecap, broke my femur, shattered and exposed my wrist. I broke a plate up here in my face, and I broke my sternum,” Lovett said…
