Iowa teen celebrates graduation from hospital bed after car accident left him paralyzed

DES MOINES, Iowa (KCCI) – An Iowa high school senior celebrated his graduation from a hospital bed after a car accident left him permanently paralyzed from the waist down, and his hospital made sure he didn’t miss the moment, KCCI reports.

Brayden Harless, a senior at South Hardin High School in Eldora, was preparing for finals when he fell asleep at the wheel and crashed, a week before graduation.

“I dozed off at the wheel, and then I crashed, like, nose-dived first, and then my car landed on all four wheels,” Harless said…
