KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A new investigation from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) is warning consumers across the country about a fraudulent heavy equipment website.
The BBB said Rock Line Equipment is linked to at least $51,000 in reported losses and the hijacking of two legitimate Kansas businesses’ identities.
According to BBB, the “business” operating through “rocklineequipment.com” has no real inventory, no legitimate business operations and no physical presence despite appearing to sell tractors, excavators and loaders at steep discounts.
