- Drier and cooler weather returns for the middle of the week
- Rain chances Friday into Friday night
- A big warm-up is ahead this weekend and into next week
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Happy Tuesday! We are waking up this morning to a few lingering showers after a broken line of non-severe thunderstorms rolled through overnight. Later this morning into the early afternoon, a cold front will move through the area and may trigger a few additional showers, though severe weather is not expected.
With the passage of this cold front, our high temperatures will occur earlier in the day before temperatures fall into tonight. Expect middle and upper 60s for highs.
What’s Coming Up…

High pressure will settle over the Upper Great Lakes on Wednesday and remain in place through Thursday, bringing mostly dry but cool conditions. By Thursday night, warmer air will begin returning, bringing a slight chance of showers mainly to the west of Madison.

Conditions should begin drying out on Saturday. Additional unsettled weather is possible from Sunday into early next week as several weather disturbances move through the Upper Midwest…
