Severe thunderstorms came through south-central Kansas on Monday night, activating Operation StormWatch on 98.7 and 1330 KNSS.
Two-inch hail (the size of hen eggs) was reported in the Inman area in McPherson County. Ping pong ball-sized hail fell in the Hutchinson area; and there was golf ball-sized hail in Sumner County.
