A new report shows where Colorado ranks in affordability for senior housing

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – As affordability concerns continue to impact families across the country, a new report shows seniors are especially facing challenges finding affordable housing in Colorado.

According to a report from CareScout, 62% of renters age 65 and older are spending at least one-third of their income on housing costs. The report also found that more than half of Colorado households are paying over $2,000 annually for home insurance.
