Spokane man arrested for driving unsafe van without plates

SPOKANE — A 51-year-old man who claimed he had a “right to travel” was arrested Friday evening after driving an unsafe vehicle despite deputies’ warnings.

David B. Anderson was booked into Spokane County Jail on multiple misdemeanor charges after deputies found him driving a van with no license plates and a shattered windshield held up by a board and hammer.
