Seated on Monday, a Midland County Circuit Court jury convicted a Lansing man Tuesday afternoon of breaking into a Coleman home owned by a Midland police officer and a Michigan State Police trooper in October.
Nicholas Premo, 47, was convicted of felonies of first-degree home invasion; possession of burglary tools; breaking and entering with intent; and larceny of a building with intent. The jury also found him guilty of malicious destruction of personal property of $200 or more and breaking and entering a vehicle to steal property less than $200.
Premo also faces a habitual offender third offense when sentenced by Judge Michael Beale, meaning his sentence will be elevated due to having two prior felonies. His sentencing date was not immediately known…
