BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – THE NEXT 24 HOURS: Expect another steamy day, with highs in the upper 80s. Scattered afternoon showers or storms will develop and could contain heavy downpours and frequent lightning. Once the sun sets, the sky will remain cloudy, the risk for rain will go down, and temperatures will be in the low 70s. Patchy fog is possible early tomorrow morning.
