COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – A popular Columbus bakery that was recently put up for sale following a family tragedy has revealed its final day of operations.
Gigi’s Cupcakes, located on Airport Thruway, announced the bakery’s final day of business is set for Saturday, May 30.
The decision comes three weeks after the business was initially listed for sale, and six months after the tragic passing of the bakery’s co-owner, Jennifer Cooper, who was killed in a crash in November 2025.
