A suspect has been arrested in connection with a woman who was set on fire in a Greensboro commercial strip, according to investigators in North Carolina.
Andrew Alan Lewis Mathews, 43, is accused of pouring gas on the victim and intentionally igniting it, the Greensboro Police Department says.
“On May 13, at approximately 4:11 a.m., Greensboro Police, Greensboro Fire, and Guilford County EMS responded to 3700 block of West Gate City Boulevard to a vehicle fire and reports of a woman suffering from burn injuries,” police said in a May 19 news release…
