GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Crews are working to clear the westbound lanes of I-196 after M-45 after a semi truck appears to have dumped its cargo onto the highway on Wednesday.
The Michigan Department of Transportation reported a vehicle fire incident blocking lanes on the westbound I-196 past the Lake Michigan Drive exit 75 just before noon. The area is still impacted hours later.
