Fontana Police Department officers responded to a robbery and kidnapping investigation involving a 79-year-old victim on March 11. 2026.
Investigators learned that two Hispanic adult male suspects, later identified as Reinaldo Estrella, 52, and Jonathan Estrella, 29, approached the victim at the El Super market located at 16950 Foothill Boulevard. The suspects led the victim to believe they were armed and forced him to drive them in his vehicle to the Wells Fargo bank near Summit Avenue.
Once at the bank, the victim withdrew $25,000 and handed the money to the suspects. The suspects then forced the victim to drive them to a nearby Target store, where they instructed him to walk inside before fleeing the area…
