Franklin County Board of Supervisors approves FY 2026-27 budget

Franklin County Board of Supervisors unanimously adopted the $247,607,533 budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year at the May 19 meeting. The new fiscal year begins July 1, 2026.

The budget includes an additional five-year capital improvement project (CIP) funding of $108,377,550 for the county and $12,656,160 for the public schools. The combined 2027-2031 CIP funding totals $121,033,710. This incorporates projected funds for the Career and Technical Education Center project.
