Iowa City pair accused of stealing nearly $4,000 in collectible dolls

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – The Iowa City Police Department has arrested two people who are accused of stealing more than two dozen dolls and reselling them.

Mercedes Seastrand and Zarkee Hall, both from Iowa City, were arrested on Monday. Both face a charge of second-degree theft.

A criminal complaint says the two had 34 dolls valued at $3,940. The same dolls were reported to be previously stolen in a burglary…
