After several months on the lam, a Muskingum County man has been arrested a second time in connection with a high-speed chase that spanned three counties in 2024.
Matthew Wayne Armentrout, 57, was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals and their Southern District in Ohio May 19. He was arrested in the 7000 block of Rader Road in Pleasantville, they told the Times Recorder.
According to court filings, Armentrout pleaded not guilty to four felonies in January 2025, including two counts of felonious assault, both first degree; failure to comply, third degree; and obstructing official business, fifth degree…
