LUBBOCK, Texas — Last October, the Wildflower Trail at the Lubbock Lake Landmark was destroyed after someone drove their car through it. Now, nearly one year later the trail is still closed.
“In October… we had a lot of damage…vandals came through and they were driving their vehicles all over the site and they hit our Wildflower Trail…which is our only ADA accessible trail on the site. Since then, it had been closed,” Susan Rowe with the Lubbock Lake Landmark said.
Since the closure, Rowe said the amount of people asking when the trail will reopen is constant…
