Do LaB announced that Lightning in a Bottle 2026 has officially sold out, marking the festival’s first complete sellout in nearly a decade.
Lightning in a Bottle’s 2026 edition takes place May 20-24 at Buena Vista Lake in Bakersfield, California. The sellout underscores the continued appeal of community-driven festivals that prioritize art and immersive experiences alongside the music programming.
This year’s lineup features headliners Empire of the Sun, Zeds Dead, Sara Landry, Mau P, Barry Can’t Swim, and Chase & Status, alongside rising stars like Mochakk, Tinashe, Of The Trees, and Overmono. The roster also includes Nia Archives, Hot Since 82, Jayda G, Dimension, DJ HEARTSTRING, Ivy Lab, Daily Bread, Avalon Emerson, Conducta, Oppidan, and Flava D among others. In total, over 250 artists will perform across eight stages throughout the five-day event.
The sellout year comes with significant venue improvements and programming expansions. Do LaB has redesigned the Junkyard stage and reimagined the Stacks stage with added dance platforms.
