Scattered storms likely, flooding possible

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Rain chances will continue to increase tonight as deeper moisture moves into the Southeast.

An incoming front will keep chances for showers or storms around tonight, but most of that activity will likely stay north of the Midlands.

Rain and storm coverage will continue to ramp up Friday into Saturday as tropical moisture surges in and as that front stalls across the state.

This will lead to multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms through Memorial Day weekend and into much of next week.
