ARAB, Ala. — An Arab Junior High School student whose cancer battle drew widespread community support has died, according to a family social media page.
Brooklyn Williams, the daughter of Decatur Fire and Rescue lieutenant Matt Williams, had been diagnosed in August 2024 with grade 4 Diffuse Midline Glioma, an aggressive brain tumor that primarily affects children.
