WALKER — Livingston Parish could see its second Chick-fil-A location by 2027, as plans are in the works for a Walker location.
At a meeting Monday evening, the Planning Commission approved the site plan for the proposed Chick-fil-A. This was the first step to allow the restaurant to begin working toward applying for approvals with the City of Walker.
The proposed Chick-fil-A would be on Walker South, near Pickleball Kingdom and the new Sombrero’s location, sharing the redlight with the Wal-Mart Supercenter. Both restaurants would be the next part of the redevelopment of the area surrounding Pickleball Kingdom.
Sombrero’s recently broke ground on the new location in late April. It is expected to open by March 2027, owner Tommy Stojak told UWK…
