SPOKANE, Wash.- A Spokane woman, Cautia McArthur, was sentenced after a June 2025 hit-and-run that injured Remedy Kitchen and Tavern co-owner Hanna Alverson.
McArthur, 19, entered a guilty plea on May 19, 2026. The charges included:
- Count 1- Vehicular assault (reckless).
- Count 2- Vehicular assault (reckless).
- Count 3 – Failure to remain at the scene of an accident – injured person.
- Count 4 – Failure to remain at the scene of an accident.
McArthur was sentenced to 29 months in confinement followed by 18 months of community custody. She also was ordered to complete an alcohol evaluation and follow-up treatment after her release.
