INDIANAPOLIS — A delivery driver is in stable condition after he was hospitalized after being shot during an alleged attempted carjacking on the north side of Indianapolis Thursday morning.
According to officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers with IMPD’s northwest district were dispatched to the 7000 block of Portland Square just before 4 a.m. on Thursday on a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they located a man who had reportedly been shot. The man was taken to an area hospital in stable condition, the department said.
