Sacramento County health inspectors closed three eateries including an Asian food restaurant after discovering 66 rat droppings in various areas.
Meanwhile, nine eateries received citations for health code violations such as raw meat stored above prepared food, no valid food manager certification and a lack of employees with a California Food Handler card.

While a yellow placard signals two or more major violations, these are typically corrected or mitigated during the inspection, according to the Sacramento County Retail Food Inspection Guide.
