EDMOND, Okla. – For Olivia Snyder, a lifelong interest in law enforcement became a dream fulfilled when the Edmond Police Department arranged a ride-along experience during her time in hospice care.
Snyder, 23, said the opportunity meant everything to her after years of battling severe medical conditions that left her unable to complete a ride-along during the Edmond Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy.
“That broke me, because that was the most important part that I wanted to be able to see,” Snyder said. “The care that these officers are giving these people.”…
