The Ventura County District Attorney’s Office announced that Mysti Lee Ary (DOB 01/29/77), of Bakersfield, has been held to answer on felony fleeing the scene of an accident causing permanent, serious injury for a June 15, 2025, accident along Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). On May 11, 2026, following a one-day preliminary hearing, the court found sufficient evidence to hold Ary to answer on the felony count.
On June 15, 2025, Ary is accused of being involved in a hit-and-run collision with a runner along PCH in Ventura County. Ary is alleged to have struck the pedestrian and then left the scene without stopping to render aid or identify herself. First responders located the injured pedestrian at the scene with significant injuries.
