Maryville’s Greenway Village gets open container approval from city

MARYVILLE, Tenn. — The City of Maryville’s Beer Board has approved a series of permits allowing people to consume alcoholic beverages outside of businesses at the city’s Greenway Village development.

This is the first area of its kind in Maryville.

Greenway Village Developer James Tomiczek applied for the initial permit, creating an outdoor area for alcohol consumption. Then, restaurant DSB Provisions applied for a secondary permit, which allows it to sell alcohol that will be consumed in the area…
