A 4-year-old boy survived a fall from a fourth-floor apartment window in southeastern Pennsylvania in what locals have called a “miracle.”
On Tuesday, May 19, at 1:18 p.m. local time, first responders received an alert about a child who had been injured in a fall at the 400 block of Washington Avenue in Ephrata, the Ephrata Police Department said in a statement. A preliminary investigation revealed that the 4-year-old fell from a window four stories up.
The child’s family rushed to assist the little boy, who “remained conscious and alert throughout the response,” police said.
